On the sun drenched dunes of sandy beaches, this little white flower startles visitors as it blooms out of its dried up leaves in late summer, its grace, solitude and understated fairness a happy reminder that summer ends but autumn will be equally beautiful in this blessed corner of the Med!
Do keep an eye for it in the beaches, and in the minoan frescoes of Crete, and be amazed by its resilient yet delicate nature!
